The Opinion of a Resident…
Combining the intangible magic of the internet and a physical neighborhood complete with noteworthy history and amenities as well as mentionable deficiencies, it is the intent of this blog to facilitate knowledge-sharing, civil debate, and friendly opinion-airing on matters related to Butchertown. This post, “The Opinion of a Resident…” is hopefully the first of many in which neighbors contribute their thoughts and opinions on issues relating to historic Butchertown.
Posts of any Butchertown-related nature are encouraged. What do you like about the neighborhood? What could use improvement? If you’ve recently moved to the area, what drew you here? If you’ve lived here all your life, what is it about the neighborhood that makes it “home”?
Civil discourse is a must (we’re all adults here), and the administrators of this blog do not necessarily endorse any position, political or otherwise, expressed by other contributors. Contributions can (and hopefully, will) be on various subject matter pertaining to Butchertown. Vile attacks, unfounded accusations, and single subject matter dominance won’t be tolerated. Meaningful contributions are sincerely welcome as we are highly interested in the history of the area, the present-day Butchertown, and the neighborhood of tomorrow.
For now, please direct content to the site administrator for inclusion. Formalized, thoughtful posts are preferred but short comments to existing content are welcome.
